Use Thin Flatbraid Wick to Make Non-Drip Moulded Paraffin Candles
Candle Deli’s flatbraid wicks are designed for containers and free standing candles made primarily of paraffin wax but also performs well in blends containing vegetable waxes.
Our flatbraid wicks are made of the highest grade ring-spun cotton. This improves overall consistency and better burning results. The self-trimming wick stance miinimises or eliminates carbon deposit formation and greatly reduces afterglow.
How to Use
It is important to prime your wick before use. Melt some wax and dip your candle wick in it. Straighten and allow to cool.
Where to Use
Use thin flatbraid wick 25m in pillar candles and container candles with a diameter of 5 cm. Use in 100% paraffin wax candles, 90% paraffin with 10% stearic acid blends, as well as other paraffin – vegetable wax blends.
Please note : this wick is not intended for use in 100% soy wax candles.
