Get Oil Soluble Black Candle Dye for Paraffin Wax Candles
Candle Deli black candle dye 5g is oil soluble. It is not easy to find a true black but this is it.
Black candle dye will dissolve completely in paraffin wax. Please note that the powder is highly concentrated.
How to Use
Use this dye in paraffin wax (also known as candle wax). Melt some candle wax in a double boiler. Once the wax is melted you can add the black candle dye. Use a toothpick or sosatie stick to measure out a pinch of candle dye. This dye is highly concentrated therefore you need only a very little. Stir gently until the candle dye has completely dissolved in the melted wax.
Please Note
Do not use oil soluble candle dye in soy wax if you’re making Soy Massage Candles. Candle dye is not suitable for body and cosmetic products. If you are making body products you might want to consider using lake dyes or micas.
Some of the black dye particles may settle at the bottom.
Tip – How to Make Grey
Add white colour to your wax. Then add a small amount of black candle dye.
