Use Oil Soluble Black Candle Dye for Paraffin Wax Candles
Candle Deli black candle dye 5g is oil soluble and will dissolve completely in paraffin wax.
How to Use
Use this dye for through colouring paraffin wax candles. Melt some candle wax in a double boiler. Add a generous amount of black candle dye to the melted wax and stir well.
This product is intended for use in paraffin wax. We cannot guarantee colour results in industrial wax blends, parasoy blends or soy wax.
Additives like stearic acid and white colour will affect the colour.
Do NOT use in massage candles.
Trouble Shooting – Making it Work
The dye particles are fine and tend to clump together. Add a generous amount of black dye to your melted wax and stir well. Let the wax cool and set. Re-melt and stir well. Ensure that all the dye has dissolved before pouring your candle.
Consider adding a few flakes of black pigment if you are still not getting the depth of colour you want. Remember to use a bigger wick if you add pigments to your wax.
