Soy Wax Candle
Thread the wick through the metal sustainer. Melt 3 tablespoons of soy wax in your microwave on high.
Cover the bottom of the glass with the melted soy wax. Position the sustainer and wick at the bottom centre of the glass. This is where a sosatie stick comes in handy! Fiddle until you have it in place & then set aside the glass so that the wax can cool and harden.
Keep the wick centered and upright in whatever way works for you. We’re big fans of the ingenious clothes peg method, pictured here.
Once the wick is centered, you can melt more soy wax. This time measure out roughly 250g or a cupful. Melt the soy wax in the microwave on high.
Add 1 tablespoon of Vanilla fragrance oil to the melted soy wax. Stir gently to mix it through.
Fill up the candle with the melted, fragranced wax. Leave it to cool.
