Stearic Acid is a plant-based wax-like substance.  Candle Maker’s Deli supplies only the most highly refined, pure white grade of Stearic Acid.

Supplied in either a 1kg bag or a 25kg bag.

Use 100g of Stearic Acid to 1kg of  either Snowy White Wax or Translucent Candle Wax.   Stearic Acid will make your candle slip out of the mould more easily as well as dramatically increasing the burning time of your candles.

How to use stearic acid:  add the stearic acid to the candle wax and melt together.  Once the wax & stearic acid are melted, you could add a candle fragrance.

Do not use stearic acid with gelwax,  beeswax or soy wax.
